THE CART SHED - AVAILABILITY
The Cart Shed is booked pretty booked up now until the end of August. We do have availability, however, early and mid-May and some midweek short stays in April and June. Just check the availability calendar on our Booking page.
This former cart shed and stable has been lovingly restored, using reclaimed and sustainable materials, to provide luxury accommodation for up to six people.
Large, open plan living space with beautiful exposed trusses, hand-made country kitchen, underfloor heating and wood burning stove. Three bedrooms, two with superking beds which can be made up as singles; three bath / shower rooms.
The accommodation is all on one level and is suitable for wheelchair users. Private outside seating area with views over open fields and woodland. The Cart Shed is dog friendly.
Our cosy Woodland Hut, in the peace and seclusion of our private woodland, is the perfect romantic getaway for two people or a glamping experience for two adults and two small children. Handcrafted to our personal specification by Kevin Lordan at The Yorkshire Hut Company (www.theyorkshirehutcompany.com) the hut has all the amenities you will need, including a fridge, hob, microwave and wood-burning stove. The en-suite shower room has a state of the art eco toilet and lashings of hot water. Enjoy the complete out of door experience, with fire pit, hammock and woodland dining under our big open skies or snuggle up in the comfort and tranquility of the hut.
The Swallow’s Nest lies next to a working arable farm in the East Riding of Yorkshire, surrounded by miles and miles of open countryside.
On our doorstep, there is a golf course, fishing lakes, a water sports centre and an abundance of wildlife.
In the summer months, swallows nest in the nooks and crannies of the farm buildings and you will be able to see them swooping in and out of their nests, feeding their young.
Look out at dusk for our resident barn owl, gliding silently over the fields and for deer, which make a fleeting appearance in our woodland.
