HOW TO FIND US

Swallow’s Nest is located just outside the village of Brandesburton,

on the road towards Hempholme and Burshill.

Please use the directions below, as a Sat Nav may well take you along our neighbouring farmer’s track off Hempholme Lane.

From Beverley (9 miles-18 minutes)

Take the A1035/A165 from Beverley towards Bridlington. At the Brandesburton roundabout, take the second exit into Brandesburton village (Main Street) past the Black Swan on your left and the primary school on your right. There is a tight bend to the left by Cost Cutter and you need to turn right just after this, by the newsagent. Bare left at the next junction, leaving the park on your right (signposted Burshill and Hempholme). This road (Mill Lane) will take you past the golf course on your left and fields on your right. There is a fairly sharp bend to the left and one to the right; our track is the next on the left.


From Scarborough (32 miles-56 minutes)

Take the A165 from Scarborough, through Bridlington to the Brandesburton roundabout. Take the fourth exit into Brandesburton village (Main Street) past the Black Swan on your left and the primary school on your right. There is a nasty bend to the left by Cost Cutter and you need to turn right just after this, by the newsagent. Bare left at the next junction, leaving the park on your right (signposted Burshill and Hempholme). This road (Mill Lane) will take you past the golf course on your left and fields on your right. There is a fairly sharp bend to the left and one to the right; our track is the next on the left.


From York (40 miles-1 hour 11 minutes)

Take the A166 towards Stamford Bridge; continue through Fridaythorpe and Wetwang to Driffield. At the roundabout, take the first exit A614. At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto the Scarborough Road, B1249. Continue on this road to Froddingham. At Froddingham, turn right, continuing on the B1249 to Brandesburton. At the first junction, turn right, leaving the park to your right (signposted Burshill and Hempholme). This road (Mill Lane) will take you past the golf course on your left and fields on your right. There is a fairly sharp bend to the left and one to the right; our track is the next on the left.


From the Humber Bridge

Take the A164 into Beverley and then pick up the A1035/A165 from Beverley towards Bridlington. At the Brandesburton roundabout, take the 2nd exit into Brandesburton village (Main Street).

Drive along Main Street, past the Black Swan on your left and the primary school on your right. There is a sharp bend to the left by Cost Cutter and you need to turn right just after this, by the newsagent. Bear left at the next junction (signposted Burshill and Hempholme) passing the play park on your right. This road (Mill Lane) will take you past the golf course on your left and fields on your right. There is a fairly sharp bend to the left and one to the right; our entrance is the next on the left.
