A WARM YORKSHIRE WELCOME
We will meet and greet you in person, so that we can show you round and make sure you have everything you need.
We live on site and are on call seven days a week.
We provide a welcome hamper with a selection of Yorkshire produce and freshly baked bread. You will find milk and water in the fridge and our hens will keep you supplied with fresh organic eggs throughout your stay.
JUST BRING YOURSELVES!
We provide you with almost everything you will need for your stay: complimentary eco washing and dishwashing products, soap dispensers in all the bathrooms, an endless supply of kindling and logs for the wood-burning stove and locally made charcoal for the barbecue. There are no hidden costs.
Order a supermarket delivery and we will happily unpack it and put it away before you arrive. We have all the usual supermarkets nearby, including Sainsburys, Tesco, Waitrose and Asda.
Eating in
If you enjoy cooking, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Tablecloths and napkins are also provided to dress the table.
Alternatively, there are a number of take aways, pubs and restaurants in the area.
A tailored seminar to improve your photography
Our friend and professional photographer, Simon Palmour, whose shots of the Yorkshire Wolds you will see around the Cart Shed, runs half day photography sessions on demand for visitors to Swallow’s Nest. These sessions can be for any number of participants from 1 to 6, and are tailored to what you want to focus on from a broad menu.
